This section contains implementation code, FPGA bitfiles, and documentation for CASPER projects.

Latest Libraries and Toolflow setup

The CASPER library of DSP blocks and the BEE XPS library of hardware support blocks differs depending on which version of Xilinx System Generator you are using. In addition, there is a legacy library of "pink" DSP blocks, called the Astro Library which is only available for XSG7.1. CASPER Library contains all the functionality of Astro Library and more. It replaces Astro Library and should be the only choice for new designs.

All libraries are available from our SVN repository at http://casper.berkeley.edu/svn/trunk using anonymous checkouts. Alternatively, you can download tarballed nightly builds of casper_library, bee_library, and xps_library and the documentation below.

MIRIAD-Ruby

MIRIAD-Ruby is *very* easy to install and use. It allows for reading and writing MIRIAD UV datasets with Ruby. It is fully self-contained -- you DO NOT NEED TO HAVE MIRIAD INSTALLED on your computer (or BEE) to use MIRIAD-Ruby!
